Making grammar exciting with Genially.

Ditch the grammar snoozefest! Present simple, continuous, past, future, conditional... Sounds as dull as watching paint dry, right? But hey, I've got the scoop to spice things up!

Ever heard of Genially? It's like the rockstar of interactive content creation. Now, let's talk about turning your grammar lesson into an epic escape room adventure.

Genially is your backstage pass to crafting an immersive experience. Go to create genially - from a template - gamification...

Pick a template and let the grammar games begin!

But wait, there's more—customize the theme and ramp up the difficulty. It's like creating your very own game show, but for learning. I went with the Present Perfect this time, because, let's be real, it could use a makeover.

Have a look at the final result here.

  1. Hi Berta! I love your blog and all the activities that you have posted! Thank you very much for sharing all your ideas! I am sure I will use them in my class. I like all of them but I will comment on this one about Genially, as it is an ICT Tool that both students and teachers really enjoy using.
As you said, grammar can be extremely boring for some of our students, so I think that by turning our grammar lesson into an epic escape room adventure with Genially, our students will learn in a more meaningful and motivational way.
I have realized that some students, when they are doing the traditional fill the gap exercises, do not actually read the full sentence or text in order to know the correct tense that they have to use in that particular gap. They just write whatever crosses their mind, without even thinking.
By using this activity students can feel like more motivated to successfully complete the different missions, so that will make them pay more attention to what they are doing and be more involved in the task that they are doing.

    ello Berta!
I'm really enjoying your blog. I love the activities you're suggesting. I adore your blog and all the activities you've posted! Genially is one of the ICT tools that I use the most in my work, although as a kindergarten teacher, I haven't managed to create these wonders. I think the way you've approached teaching grammar seems very motivating and meaningful for students, and in my future, if I ever work in primary education, I'll try to apply your activity.
